Diogo Moura Lopes (1999), born in Oporto (Portugal), began his musical studies at the age of 5 at Academia do Som, completing the Yamaha course in classical piano. 

At the age of 9, he entered Escola Artística de Música do Conservatório Nacional (EAMCN) where he continued his studies with José Bon Sousa and João Lucena Vale, later transfering to Composition in High School, graduating as a student of Eurico Carrapatoso. 

While studying at EAMCN he developed his vocal and performance skills, participating in multiple musical projects including Coro Juvenil da Universidade de Lisboa, Pequenos Cantores and Musaico, both conducted by Tiago Marques. 

As a choir member of Musaico he participated in choral competitions like Festival Coral de Verão, FICA and International Chorwettberb, performed in the opera “Monster in the Maze” by Jonathan Dove and recorded the award winning CD “Magnificat em Talha Dourada” by Eurico Carrapatoso.

As of 2017 he is studying Composition at Escola Superior de Música de Lisboa (ESML) where he has studied with João Madureira, and is currently studying with António Pinho Vargas. As a student at ESML, he has had the chance to participate in multiple choir projects with and conducted by his fellow students.

He has also studied at Hot Clube de Portugal, and is currently a member in the vocal ensemble “Octantis”.
