MÓNICA BELTRÃO DOS SANTOS
Mónica Beltrão dos Santos (1998), born in Lisbon (Portugal), started her musical studies at the age of 15 at Escola Artística de Música do Conservatório Nacional (EAMCN), studying lyrical singing with Rute Dutra. As a soloist, she worked in a project with Os Músicos do Tejo, did the opera “Dido and Aeneas” as the first witch in AEMCN and participated in premiered pieces of young Portuguese composers.
In 2017, Mónica was accepted to Escola Superior de Música de Lisboa, where she currently studies both lyrical singing with Luís Madureira and Choral Conducting/Music Education. Besides Nova Era Vocal Ensemble, she is also a member of Octantis and Contratempo.
