Dinis Rodrigues was born in Lisbon, Portugal. His musical journey started with piano lessons but soon he realized that singing was his passion, and at the age of 16 he started having singing lessons with soprano Susana Duarte at Luís António Maldonado Rodrigues Conservatory. Since then, he has worked with renowned singers and teachers, such as Nelly Miricioiu, Ana Quintans, Christiane Karg and James Newby, further developing his abilities as an artist. In 2023, he integrated the Internationale Chorakademie Lübeck under Rolf Beck's tutoring.

For the past two years he has been a member of the Gulbenkian Choir in Lisbon, having sung under some of the most influential conductors of today's music scene, such as Lorenzo Viotti, L. G. Alarcón, John Nelson, among others. As a soloist, he was awarded Best Interpretation of Portuguese Song by Eborae Musica in 2023, and recently sang Mozart's Requiem K.626 and Dvorák's Stabat Mater.
