Daniel Lesur's most famous composition is the core of this program. Combining the latin text of the New Testament with the text of "Le cantique des cantiques", Lesur shows us completely different textures of each of the texts but also creates an intimate dialogue between them. The seven movements present an intense relation between music and text, in the way only purely vocal music is able to do so. Pieces from Arvo Pärt and Sven-David Sandström will be also performed.

In every program, Nova Era cooperates with various composers in order to premier new compositions. During this concert, the ensemble will introduce 3 pieces from 3 different composers. João Llano's " Vozes do Mar ", a poem from Florbela Espanca and a complexe homophonic texture that results in a clear and natural perception of the text, André Mota's " Inter-sonho " and Ana Catarina Barros's " Não digas nada! ". All the mentioned pieces were dedicated particularly to Nova Era Vocal Ensemble.
