Patrícia Isabel Ruivo Manso was born in 1995 in Lisbon (Portugal). Having started singing at a young age in school and church choirs, she began her singing studies (with an inclination towards Jazz) in 2012 with contralto Inês Martins and then, after being accepted in Escola Artística de Música do Conservatório Nacional (EAMCN) in 2017, with professor and soprano Filomena Amaro, studying lyrical singing.
A year before, 2016, she joined Coro da Universidade de Lisboa as contralto. She was then invited to join Musaico, one of EAMCN’s choirs, and also Jazz Cantat, in 2018, both directed by Tiago Marques.
Meanwhile, Patrícia participated in various choral projects and events such as Concertos Participativos Gulbenkian (in 2016 and 2018), two editions of the Jornadas Internacionais de Música da Sé de Évora (2017 and 2018) and the 2019 World Choral Expo, with Jazz Cantat.
She had the opportunity to work with and learn from different singers and conductors, such as Paulo Lourenço, Pedro Teixeira, Owen Rees, Armando Possante, Joana Nascimento, Maria de Fátima Nunes, among others.
Nowadays, she continues her studies at EAMCN and her activities in several choirs, as well as in other personal projects such as two vocal ensembles (Musicæli - 2017, and As Musas - 2018) which she co-founded and has led, and with which she performs in various events.
